The Alliance Party of Northern Ireland, more simply the Alliance, is a Northern Irish liberal and centrist political party. In August 2017, ExplosiveHorse of the Alliance was elected as Deputy First Minister. Briefly, beginning in May 2018 and ending in June 2018, Estoban06 served as First Minister. Throughout the 14th Executive, for 6 months, CountBrandenburg served as First Minister from June-December 2019. On 10 June 2020, the Green Party of Northern Ireland and the Alliance merged, and the Alliance's designation switched from other to member designation, the system the Green Party used.[1][2] ka4bi also became leader of the Alliance Party, with CountBrandenburg becoming his deputy. After CountBrandenburg became Lib Dem Leader, he appointed ohprkl as Deputy Leader. On 10 August 2020, ka4bi resigned, with ohprkl becoming Alliance leader.[3]
